Stepping outside our comfort zone with Action4Youth

Last week, a small but determined team from Methods took part in our charity partner, Action4Youth’s, annual Caldecotte Xtreme Challenge - a team-based experience designed to test resilience, collaboration and a willingness to try something new.

Representing Methods, a team of four colleagues came together to take on a series of physical challenges, from climbing and archery to water-based activities and a 5k run. It was muddy, energetic, and at times well outside our comfort zones - but that was exactly the point!

Action4Youth do vital work supporting young people to build confidence, resilience and belief in their future. Taking part gave us a small insight into the environments and experiences they create every day, and why that work matters.

As a business, social value isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we show up for. Volunteering like this gives our people the opportunity to work together differently, support meaningful causes and have a bit of fun along the way.

A huge thank you to Action4Youth for hosting us, and to everyone involved for getting stuck in. We’re proud to support the brilliant work they do.
